As Jessica and her friends continue their quest, they face unexpected new allies and even greater threats than before, some of which are closer than they realize.

Damien Crowe refuses to let anyone else die because of him. Haunted by the loss of his military unit and his brother, his only goal is to keep Jessica and their friends safe as they seek aid from the apathetic elves. But as the inexplicable presence in Damien’s mind threatens to take over, he fears he may be the greatest threat amongst them.

When darkness from Jessica’s past resurfaces, Damien and his friends find themselves in the crosshairs of the powerful Elven Council. Alliances are tested, secrets are revealed, and Damien and the crew must uncover a legendary power to survive. But great power demands sacrifice, and every new legend invites a sinister force to challenge it.

Praise for The Eye of the Lion

Rachael weaves a fantastic urban fantasy, bringing the magical into the real world. This book furthers the characters' strengths and weaknesses, and how well they all round out the group together with their friendships. This sequel carried on the adventures and made me crave so much more - I honestly couldn't put down The Eye of the Lion, and the ending, I am still thinking about that ending and how I NEED to know what happens next. And I will always love the Arthurian legends weaved throughout, that fully came to a head in this book! While I have been so hesitant with urban fantasy in the past, this series quickly became one that I would recommend and would love for more people to pick up! - Julie @fromjuliereads

To paraphrase Deniece Williams, 'Let's hear it for the boys!' Their vulnerability and sacrifice make Eye of the Lion the heart of this series. I feel like marshmallows and hugs every time I see the cover. Good thing Nonna pops by to keep us in check 😂

There's just so much to love about book 4. The plot is remarkably relevant today. Empathy and cooperation are needed more than ever to keep the powerful in check. - Amy @a.p.reading

The Eye of the Lion is another triumph for Rachael Bell-Irving as she delves back into the Wicked Conjuring series with undoubtedly her most high stakes adventure yet. Nothing short of a thrill ride, the penultimate book follows through in setting up a devastating conclusion that is sure to leave readers both crying into their pages and desperately scrambling for more. But Bell-Irving doesn’t stop there. Despite already having a stand out cast of lovable characters, she proves once again that she’s the one the beat by adding two new exciting POVs that deepen the sense of found family within. The Wicked Conjuring is a must read series and with the finale right around the corner there has never been a better time join.  - Mitchell
